Building the Design
Viking Factory worked with artist Manny Macaraeg to translate the brief into a cohesive exterior and interior treatment. The project required careful placement so the artwork complemented the box construction without interfering with its hinges, lock, or storage areas.
Exterior Details
The exterior uses a high-contrast black-and-yellow scheme with personalized lettering and a controlled drip effect around the edges. The result is immediately recognizable while preserving the original form of the box.
Interior Details
The inside lid carries additional custom graphics arranged around the available storage space. Repeating the same palette across the interior and exterior helps the entire piece feel intentional.

A strong custom finish begins with a clear brief, a limited palette, and respect for the product’s functional components. This project remains a useful example of how collaborative artwork can turn a standard box into a distinctive personal gift.
